Remote Patient Care Pathway

Remote Consultation & Fitting Process

For patients unable to attend in person, we provide a structured remote consultation pathway designed to ensure safety, comfort, and confidence when selecting a medical-grade human hair wig.

1. Private Consultation

Each patient begins with a one-to-one consultation, where we discuss individual preferences, medical considerations, and suitability. During this stage, we also guide patients through simple at-home measurement instructions to ensure accurate fitting.

2. Live Product Confirmation

Before any finalization, we provide a live video presentation of the exact medical-grade wig prepared for the patient. This allows review of colour, density, and overall appearance, ensuring full transparency and confidence prior to proceeding.

3. Personalized Preparation

Based on the confirmed measurements, the medical-grade wig is individually prepared and adjusted using comfort-focused solutions such as integrated soft elastic bands or internal fitting support structures for extreme small heads. This ensures suitability for sensitive scalps and long-term wear.

4. Final Adjustment & Delivery

Once approved, final refinements are completed in-house, and the medical-grade wig is discreetly prepared for shipment directly to the patient.

2. Can cancer patients receive reimbursement for a cranial prosthesis?

Depending on the patient's diagnosis, insurer, and region, partial or full reimbursement may be available. Patients are encouraged to consult their insurance provider, healthcare team, or oncology social worker regarding eligibility.

3. What is the difference between a medical wig and a fashion wig?

Medical wigs are designed for individuals experiencing medical hair loss and often prioritize scalp comfort, breathability, secure fit, and suitability for sensitive skin.

4. Can oncology social workers or patient navigators share these resources?

Yes. Patient education sheets, digital flipbooks, and resource materials may be shared by oncology social workers, patient navigators, survivorship programs, and supportive care teams where appropriate.
